ACCESS CONTROL
Trustees, the designated security company and managing agents reserve the right to refuse access to the estate of persons / vehicles deemed undesirable, for justifiable reasons of ensuring the security and safety of the residents. Vehicles entering and leaving the estate may be searched at the discretion of the security company.
Access Tags are issued and controlled by the office of the Estate Management. The Trustees and the Managing Agent reserve the right to de-activate any access tag if it is thought that the tag is being illegally used.
The Trustees reserve the right to order the de-activation and re-activation and registration of all Occupants from time to time as a security measure.
ACCESS PROCEDURE FOR VISITORS
When a visitor arrives at the gate security will scan their drivers ID and car registration number.
OPTION 1 – PRE‐CLEARANCE
• Resident is expecting a Visitor
• The Resident sends “Tap 1” as an SMS to 082 879 5992
• The gate sends the Resident an Entry and Exit Pin.
• This is given to the Visitor
(forward on SMS)
• Visitor present this CODE to Security
• This code can only be used once, however if you type “Tap 3”, the Entry and Exit Pin can be used 3 times by 3 different people
• When leaving the Visitor arrives at the Exit and types in the Exit Pin to activate the exit gate
ACCESS OPTION 2 – INTERCOM
• Guard then dials Unit Number, Resident presses 9 on their phone to let the Visitor in (or inform Guard not to grant access)
• Resident will receive an SMS with an Exit Code to give to their Visitor
• When leaving the Visitor arrives at the Exit and types in the Exit Pin to activate the exit gate
• Please note that if 9 is not pressed to allow the visitor in NO exit pin will be sent.
